Life Purpose, Vision & Goal Setting

13 Motivational YouTube Channels You Need In Your Life

Pursuing an important change or goal takes strength and a high degree of motivation.

It takes motivation to begin the process, and motivation to stay with it. Often a big part of that motivation comes from the support, encouragement, and guidance of people who believe in us and want to see us successful like a coach, mentor, spouse, friend, boss, or teacher.

These support systems are integral to our success because motivation can be hard to sustain over time. And for that reason, a helping hand can be just what someone needs to continue on.

This helping hand can also come from a motivational YouTube channel or an inspirational podcast. Some of these are so educational and contain so much useful information that watching/listening to them feels like having an online coach or mentor for free.

Here I show you my favorite motivational YouTube channels that can give you a big boost of motivation when you need it. Of course, there are many more brilliant motivational YouTube channels out there but these are the ones that I know and regularly watch.

1. Tom Bilyeu

Tom Bilyeu’s videos cover all my favorite topics, including mindset shift, self-improvement, relationships, and optimizing health. He has two main series: Impact Theory on Tuesdays and Health Theory on Thursdays.

Impact Theory is about success tips and habits to execute your dreams and live your full potential. These tips and motivations are given by interviewing elite entrepreneurs, athletes, and other inspirational people. On Thursdays, we can learn about the latest findings in the health industry from interviews with top health experts in the Heath Theory series.

2. Women of Impact

This channel is hosted by Lisa Bilyeu and its target audience is women. Lisa is the co-founder of the billion-dollar company Quest Nutrition and President of Impact Theory. The videos “feature women who have overcome incredible hardship to achieve massive success”. The mission of this channel is to motivate and empower women to realize that they can achieve everything they want.

3. Mel Robbins

Another video channel about mindset reset and motivation is Mel Robbins’ YouTube channel.

Mel Robbins is a serial entrepreneur and one of the most booked motivational speakers in the world. She has mainly short #CoffeeTalk style videos about life, success habits, mindset, relationship, and more. Mel used to have anxiety, panic attacks, and depression and she talks about how she overcame these mental issues. Her no-BS style is popular around the world.

She runs the free, fun, simple, and powerful #MindsetReset program on her YouTube channel. It’s a 35-day program to change your habits with videos, downloadable guides about morning routine, helping kids with anxiety and success habits.

4. Evan Carmichael

This channel is devoted to solving the world’s biggest problem: Untapped human potential, created by Evan Carmichael. He watches a vast amount of motivational and inspirational videos of elite entrepreneurs and successful people. Then he edits these videos into “Successful person’s name 10 rules” style videos. In these videos, we get life-changing advice and motivation to model the masters and live our full potential.

You can also sign up for his 254 free videos you get every morning to help you build your confidence. These videos are short, usually between 30 seconds and 5 minutes.

5. Mindvalley Talks

I have known Mindvalley for years and followed their incredible personal growth programs. Mindvalley Academy has the most amazing speakers who teach us the things that we wish were taught in schools. Their motivational YouTube channel hosts talks from speakers like Vishen Lakhiani, Marisa Peer, Lisa Nichols, Esther Perel, Neale Donald Walsh, Jim Kwik, and many more who open your mind to a whole new world about career and influence, lifestyle and productivity, mind and spirit, health and fitness, and love and relationships.

6. Tony Robbins

“Tony Robbins is a catalyst for change and a strategist for success.” He is an entrepreneur, best-selling author, philanthropist, and life coach. “He creates change in minutes when normally it couldn’t be accomplished in years.” More than 50 million people from 100 countries learned from his audio, video, and life training programs.

7. Brendon Burchard

Brendon Burchard is one of the most-watched personal development trainers in the world and one of the most successful online instructors in history. After suffering from depression and surviving a car accident at the age of 19, he started to ask himself the following questions: “Did I truly live today? Did I love? Did I matter?” He took on a personal development journey to be able to answer “yes” to these questions and now he teaches us to do the same in his #1 direct-to-camera self-help solo series on his motivational YouTube channel, and his podcast, The Charged Life.

These are short videos for a quick motivation boost when you don’t have time to listen to a long story or interview. The topics include self-improvement, success tips, mind hacks, habits, and morning routine tips from the most successful people and motivational speakers.

10. Bob Proctor

You may know Bob Proctor from the hit movie, The Secret. First I’d come across his book, You were born rich, and later I discovered his videos. I really appreciate that he uploaded his You were born rich coaching DVD series to YouTube and now it’s available for everyone.

He is a great motivator to inspire you to find what you really want to have and do in your life and gives you actionable strategies to grow, improve, and achieve your goals. He shows you how to shift your paradigm to truly understand yourself and instill inside of you the mental foundation of success.

“Most people are not going after what they want. Even some of the most serious goal seekers and goal setters, they’re going after what they think they can get.” – Bob Proctor

11. Lewis Howes

Lewis Howes is an author, entrepreneur, and former professional Arena League football player. He hosts The School of Greatness, a talk show in which he interviews various successful people around the world. His motivational YouTube channel and podcast are inspiring and educational.

“Always remember you were born for a reason, a purpose, and something bigger than yourself. But YOU have to activate this calling; no one is going to turn it on for you! It’s Your Responsibility to build yourself into a person who can live a great life. No one is going to give you the power to develop your mental strength, emotional intelligence, and physical health to have the life you want. That’s between you and you!

I know there are times that are challenging, and it may seem like you can’t get out of it. I’m living proof that you can. If a small-town boy from Ohio (who didn’t see any potential for his future) can do it, then so can you!”

12. Dean Graziosi

Dean Graziosi is an entrepreneur, real estate investor, multiple New York Times best-selling author, and success coach. He has Weekly Wisdom style short videos on his YouTube channel. “Weekly Wisdoms are a series of video blogs that he has been doing for over 6 years! In his weekly video publications, you’re going to get a massive dose of knowledge, tips, and encouragement all in one video.” He teaches you the habits that wealthy people have in his Millionaire Success Habits podcast, which you can also find on YouTube.

13. Inspire Nation

If you feel like someone else would also need some motivation to share this post with her/him 🙂
