Don’t worry, you can do both! I’ve found some amazing recipes from which you can create an indulgent healthy vegan Christmas menu. I love the combination of chocolate and orange. Do you? This chocolate orange chia pudding would be a perfect festive breakfast or even a healthy dessert during Christmas.

Look at this beautiful color! Isn’t it amazing? This vibrant colored hummus would look soo good on a buffet table or as an appetizer during the holidays. You could even make a Christmas tree or Santa shape out of the vegetables you use for dipping. Have you seen those images on Pinterest? (I saved some of them to my Vegan Recipes Board if you want to see them.)

This absolutely gorgeous Mushroom Wellington would definitely take center stage on your Christmas table. Look at that flaky golden brown pastry around those succulent mushrooms and caramelized onions. I really want to sink my teeth in it.

Another beautiful main or side option is this amazing roasted whole cauliflower. It looks so impressive, isn’t it? Cauliflower is a very healthy and low-calorie vegetable, therefore it complements nicely the other richer courses.

Roasted vegetables are my favorite way of having some of my 5-a-day during the cold months. With some good quality vegan sausages, this veg & sausage traybake would be a perfect easy Christmas dinner or a side dish if we cook for a lot of people.

This Avocado Chocolate Mousse Pie is to die for. It contains chocolate (obviously), coconut cream, and avocado. Can you imagine anything creamier and more indulgent? But it’s still fluffy and mousse-like, and the best part: these are all healthy fats! And the base is made of Oreos – need I say more?

If you are not a chocolate fan (what’s wrong with you??) or you want a lighter dessert (too), try this beautiful blood orange vegan jelly with toasted almond sorbet. This has such a gorgeous festive color. It is also easy to make and can be prepared in advance.

We also need some cookies to munch on during the holidays. These vegan, paleo, grain-free chocolate chip cookies are a healthy option. The coconut flour used in this recipe is more nutritious than the traditional white flour and naturally gluten-free. These cookies contain no refined oil (almond butter instead) and no refined sugar. They are still calorie dense so don’t eat the whole batch 😉

So, there you have it. I hope you like this indulgent healthy vegan Christmas menu.
