The 10 best inspirational feel good podcasts you need in your life

I love podcasts! Especially the inspirational feel good podcasts! I used to be a huge YouTube fan but about half a year ago discovered the podcast world and I’ve got hooked.

I used to watch, well mainly listen to, YouTube videos while cooking, cleaning and folding the laundry to make these boring tasks a bit more interesting. But it wasn’t very effective. I had to look at the screen from time to time, so things went a bit slower than they would’ve without this distraction. As I don’t have much time, I had to figure out something because I absolutely hate cleaning. Need some entertainment to make it somehow more bearable. I don’t mind folding the laundry and cooking but they can get boring too. Used to love cooking, trying new recipes and getting creative in the kitchen. But since I have two picky eaters in the house, cooking became pretty boring. Just making the same meals over and over and over again. (Of course, I experiment a bit, introducing new foods, but usually with not much success).

I also like learning new stuff and these minutes or hours during household chores could potentially be used for that too. First I started to listen to audiobooks. It was good but I prefer reading. Going back to a sentence I liked, thinking about it, highlighting it, getting involved. With audiobooks, it is really difficult to go back and find again what I liked.

Then I discovered podcasts!

Then I discovered podcasts! They are amazing! How could I live without them for so long? They are much shorter than an audiobook so I can go back easily if I liked something and listen to it again. Or I can just listen to the whole thing again. They can teach me, entertain me, make me feel good, inspire and motivate me, endless possibilities!

Since I have my beloved little AirPods, podcast listening while doing the household chores became even easier. I don’t need to worry about getting tangled up in the wire of the headphone and don’t need to carry around my phone either. I can put my phone down somewhere and can walk around the house and hear the podcasts perfectly for hours. The sound is amazing and the AirPods recharge very quickly. Another cool feature is that they automatically pause the podcast when you pull one out (because your child needs to ask you something extremely urgent and important) and resume when you put them back in your ear. GENIUS!

According to Dr. Cliff Arnall, the third week of January (especially Monday) is the gloomiest, most depressing time of the year. It is cold and dark, many failed their new year’s resolutions (not you if you followed my tips in this blog post) and stressed because of debts from overspending during the holidays.

But it doesn’t have to be! You can listen to some uplifting, motivating, inspiring podcasts to feel instantly better 🙂 Actually you can listen to them even if you don’t have the winter blues. They are good at any time of the year. If you have an iPhone or iPad there is a Podcast icon on it by default and through that app, you can listen to these podcasts completely free.

Here I show you 10 of my favorite podcasts. Of course, there are many many more amazing podcasts out there but these are the ones that I regularly listen to so I can honestly recommend you.

The 10 best inspirational feel good podcasts you need in your life:

1. Achieve Your Goals by Hal Elrod

This is not so much of a feel good podcast but rather a motivating one, but this is my favorite in this category. Hal Elrod has so many great tips, tricks, and strategies to change your mindset and make your life better. He almost died two times. First, he was hit by a drunk driver at the age of 20. He was in a coma, broke 11 bones and was not supposed to be able to walk ever again. Then he ran an ultra-marathon, became an international keynote speaker and success coach. In 2016 he was again very close to death as he had a very aggressive type of cancer but he came out a winner again.

He has a bestselling book: The Miracle Morning which is translated into 27 languages. His podcast’s topics include goal setting, self-development, time management, productivity. His guests are also extremely inspiring. After listening to this podcast you want to just go and achieve all your goals in every area of your life.

2. The Lavendaire Lifestyle by Aileen Xu

This one is more of an inspirational feel good podcast. It is hosted by the lovely artist, YouTuber, and entrepreneur Aileen Xu. This podcast shares weekly inspiration on how to create your dream life. I love listening to her soothing, calming voice and her interesting conversations with her guests. The topics include my favorite interests, such as becoming your best self, balancing work and creativity, quitting bad habits, healthy eating, spirituality and building your dream life with confidence.

“After I graduated, I decided to set out to find a career and life that I’m super passionate about, rather than settling for a job I knew I wouldn’t love. I deeply enjoy the process of creating my dream life: the journey to embracing myself, aligning with my vision, and building the habits and skills to make that life a reality.”

3. Feel Good Podcast by Kimberly Snyder

This podcast is again a feel good podcast about health, wellness, spirituality, beauty, and personal development. Kimberly Snyder was a celebrity nutritionist, working with Hollywood stars before she built the Feel Good Movement. It is “dedicated to helping each other to overcome self-doubt, access true inner peace, embrace the power of love and Feel Good in our unique wholeness”.

In the podcast, she offers practical tools to achieve a healthy, inspired and joyful life. She talks with top experts and also answers the questions of the community. Her topics include empowering, inspiring interviews, talks about healthy eating, dealing with stress and anxiety, self-love, becoming more confident, changing mentality, beauty tips and so on. Her book: Recipes for Your Perfectly Imperfect Life contains not only 100 recipes but also tips to live a happy and fulfilled life.

4. The Marie Forleo Podcast by Marie Forleo

Marie Forleo is a life- and a business coach. She wrote the book: Make Every Man Want You: How to Be So Irresistible You’ll Barely Keep from Dating Yourself! She has a web TV show, which is not only extremely inspiring and helpful but also soo funny 😀

Her inspirational feel good podcast is based on this show. The topics include “strategies for greater happiness, success, motivation, creativity, productivity, love, health, contribution, and fulfillment — often with a lot of laughs. From business, marketing, and career advice, to tackling failure, disappointment, and fear, to philanthropy and doing our part to make the world a more loving, just and equitable place — we cover it all”.

5. The Brendon Show by Brendon Burchard

Brendon Burchard also had a car accident when he was 19. He felt like by surviving it he has got a second chance. He asked himself: “Did I live fully? Did I love openly? Did I make a difference?” Since then his goal is to live a life so he can have positive answers to these questions and inspires others to do the same. He’s studied psychology, leadership, neuroscience, and high performance for two decades.

He became the world’s leading high-performance coach and one of the Top 100 Most Followed Public Figures in the world. He is A #1 New York Times, #1 Wall Street Journal, #1 Amazon and #1 USA Today best-selling author. His latest book is High Performance Habits: How Extraordinary People Become That Way.

His podcast, The Brendon Show is truly inspiring and motivating. Brendon has a unique way of delivering real, tangible tips for being more productive, happy, present, healthy, and reminds you to get out of your comfort zone. You learn something new in every episode.

6. The Life Coach School by Brook Castillo

Brooke Castillo is the founder of The Life Coach School. She teaches you how to use your brain, i.e. your thoughts to achieve what you want. First I saw her name on a diet book that I came across years ago: If I Am So Smart, Why Can’t I Lose Weight? But then I learned about her Life Coach School and her podcast and became a fan. Her explanations of what motivates us, and how we can harness that to live our best lives are well-researched, based on social science, psychology, and personal experience. She has a smooth voice and she explains complicated, and sometimes uncomfortable, topics from a novel perspective. Her topics include: why you aren’t taking action, reducing anxiety, how to stop overeating, how to improve your relationships, how to make more money and many more. She gives truly live changing advice that is worth applying.

You can download the book from here for free:

7. Do it scared by Ruth Soukup

I’ve learned about Ruth though her Blogging course: the Elite Blog Academy. Then she started her podcast in April 2018, of course, I was curious and listened to her. And I really like her interviews with amazing people (authors, influencers) who did it scared and changed their lives. She provides practical tips and inspiration to dare to achieve our dreams. She says: “In my own life, I’ve discovered that courage doesn’t mean we’re never afraid, but instead that courage is simply taking action, even in the face of fear. And now I’m here to not only help you dream bigger but to take the steps necessary to make those goals and dreams a reality.”

8. Pursuit with purpose by Melyssa Griffin

I discovered Melissa Griffin through her very informative blog about blogging, which quickly became one of my favorites. I love her advice, style, and personality. No wonder I also like her inspirational feel good podcast which is surprisingly not about blogging. Her podcast interviews about mindset, happiness, overcoming difficulties, self-discovery, self-love and many more with amazing guests. It has been inactive for a while but there is some really good content in the archive.

9. The Lively Show by Jess Lively

Jess Lively started her career with a successful jewelry business and later she became a business coach. Her mission is to show us a deeper and more effective way to business instead of the hustle and grind. In her podcast episodes, she talks about how to use the subconscious, intuitions and the law of attraction in our life to create success. Her uplifting and inspirational podcast covers a wide range of topics, from wellness, food, and motherhood to spirit, design, money, business, and blogging. They are based both on science and on a bit of “woo-woo”. Earlier she had amazing guests on the show, nowadays she transitioned into showing her client sessions and her solo shows.

10. Manifestation Babes by  Kathrin Zenkina

This podcast has even more “woo-woo” in it but in a good way. Kathrin Zenkina’s mission is to help spiritual women find their limiting believes about themselves and replace them with empowering beliefs. She uses the law of attraction principles for personal development, mindset shifting and manifesting money. Her book Unleash Your Inner Money Babe is a workbook designed to change your limiting believes around money to a mindset of abundance and wealth. “The workbook is designed to be a fun, exciting, truth-bomb packed 21-day challenge with the goal of manifesting $1,000 by the end of the 21 days.” I have the book and it looks really interesting but I have not started to do the challenge yet. I’ll let you know when I do.

There you have it 🙂 Hope you enjoy these inspirational feel good podcasts as much as I do. Let me know if you like any of these or you have another favorite that I should know about.

Sharing is caring <3
